Terms and Conditions NT

Neighbourhood Watch NT (NHWNT) and Victims of Crime NT (VoCNT) are both committed to helping create safer communities and reduce the occurrence of crime and its impact on the community.

How safe is my place? NT has been developed for education and awareness purposes and was originally developed by Neighbourhood Watch Victoria. Neighbourhood Watch NT and Victims of Crime NT have partnered to create How safe is my place? NT. This is a free self-assessment tool which will help you to evaluate the security levels of your property and determine how you can improve the security in and around your home. The recommendations for improvement are based on CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles which are internationally recognised in the security, law enforcement and architectural industries.

Neighbourhood Watch NT and Victims of Crime NT hope that by using this self-assessment tool and learning what you can do to improve the security around your home, that criminal activity will be reduced and the safety of the community and security of property will be increased.

While every effort has been made to incorporate reasonable means to reduce the opportunities for criminal activities to occur, there is no expressed or implied guarantee that the ‘”place” or property will be free from criminal activity if these suggestions are followed and implemented.

When completing the How safe is my place? self-assessment you will automatically be registered as a Neighbourhood Watch NT subscriber and added to the Victims of Crime NT mailing list.

We respect your trust and protect your privacy, and therefore will never share your personal details with any third party.
